P(ocket) M(oney) cares
Amidst the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) scare, one might dwell on who exactly cares? Students of Amity International School, for one, evinced who and how. The school aided as an auxiliary in these trying times, where students chipped in undaunted and pledged a significant amount of their Pocket Money to the PM CARES fund*, conforming wholly to the aphorism – a little goes a long way. For, when push comes to shove, even a pint-sized thought behind something, and a minuscule amount of effort channelised towards it, can bring about a huge transition; the times may perhaps be ruinous or tough, but the spirit of giving is as adamantine as it could ever be.
*In pursuance of mitigation in India’s fight against COVID-19, Prime Minister of India launched The Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES) on March 28, 2020, that accepts voluntary donations and financial assistance from individuals/organisations across the globe.
